The Campbell Community Toy Program will be holding a fundraiser/”toyraiser” at 5:30pm Wednesday, December 7th. Admission to the event is one new, unwrapped toy (or a donation of $10). Club members can bring a toy with them to the event, or bring them to a club meeting and someone will bring it to the event for you.
Location: Orchard City Banquet Hall, 1 W Campbell Ave, Campbell.
The club will also be donating $1,000 to the program this year.

Lions Ed Pansullo, Ward Eister, Lucie Mueller, and Bert Caro passed out flags at Campbell’s Veterans Day Celebration on Friday, November 11. They distributed 100 American flags to those in attendance.
The club ordered 288 small American flags to have for Veteran’s Day and Flag Day activities. In a surprise move, Lion Judy Blandford stepped forward and paid the $120 bill for the flags.
Lion Ed Pansullo reported that the 2016 White Cane Days were very successful, raising over $1,100 dollars. Held on October 14 and 15, Lions took turns collecting money in front of the main Campbell Post Office on Hamilton Avenue, and the Meridian Avenue Post Office on Meridian just south of Hamilton Avenue. There were enough volunteers that, along with Lion Ed covering some shifts, every shift was covered on both days.
Lion President Art Low gave his thanks to the many members and friends of the club who volunteered at Oktoberfest in downtown Campbell on October 14 & 15. The club staffed one of the booths serving beer and wine.
Oktoberfest is sponsored by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, which makes a donation to the club in return for the volunteers staffing the event. We received a $500 check for our participation this year.
